Twilight invades Philippines

TWILIGHT MOVIE REVIEW

What's with this film anyway, why are they so crazy about this film? is it because of the story? or because of the cute characters? hehehe
I decided to watch this film to find out why people are so obsessed with Edward and Bella (the characters from the film) ...
Let me tell you, its not really the best film I have ever seen but at least they met all my expectations, except for one, no BED SCENE, joke.
Anyway, The theater was full of frenzied teenagers who were obviously cult followers of the book. I think the movie is great, I haven't really read the book, not a fan either but I can say that it was a good film. The actors are great, Kristin Stewart nailed her part well. Robert Pattinson (i hate it when he shows up in a scene, the girls keep on screaming until he vanishes from the scene), well he did well too. What

This is definitely a movie to see.

The only thing I had a teensy problem with was all the super-sweeping camera angles. Very nice at times, but you could tell they liked that way of filming.

Even if you've NEVER read the books, you WILL enjoy this story, also.

I know I'll be back to see it again.

HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS - a book review

FAREWELL HARRY POTTER

I feel sad now that the Harry Potter series has now ended. I don't know what strucked me, but after reading the last bok, I FELT EMOTONALLY ILL...like SOMETHING INSIDE ME WAS TAKEN OUT...I have been so much attached to the Harry Potter series since the First movie. I have been so much fond of the characters and their journeys...because of this, i feel that it has been a part of my life.
Honestly, I never want the story to end. But, I realized taht evrything doesn't last forever and maybe accept that it has ended, move on, get over it, and keep moving forward.
The last book, HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS, was for me, tragic and sad. But of course, adventurous. The way the three of them (Harry, Hermione and Ron) fought against the Dark LOrd's Forces, found and destroyed all the Horcruxes, and unravelled the secret of the DEATHLY HALLOWS. The book is great, really great, Rowling did a great job, indeed. Rowling is a very promising author, I love the way she connected
al the past events from year one up to the last, the way she managed to put all the pieces together to solve the problem. By redaing the book I feel that I was one of the characters, I also help to find clues to solve the answer to the mystery, I made a lot of theories, and the thing is, almost all of my theories are correct.
I think what makes it sad and tragic because of all the lives that were lost, all who died to protect Harry. Its sad that they died.
To SIRIUS, ALBUS DUMBLEDORE, MAD-EYE MOODY, DOBBY, FRED, TONKS, CREEVEY, LUPIN AND other who had died...may you rest in peace

"Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."

I'm gonna miss them, HARRY, HERMIONE, RON, GINNY, NEVILLE and LUNA.Im gonna miss the spells that they have used. The hogwarts and the teachers and other charcters. Im gonna miss everything...
Its very hard to say goodbye to them, EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE JUST CHARACTERS OF A FICTION NOVEL, BUT FOR ME, THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN REAL, OTHERS MIGHT FIND IT FUNNY, BUT I HAVE ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT THEYRE REAL, THAT THERE REALLY IS A HOGWARTS, AND THERE REALLY ARE WIZARDS AND WITCHES. ITS REALLY HARD TO SAY GOODBYE TO THEM, ITS LIKE SAYING GOODBYE TO A CLOSE FRIEND OR SOMEONE THAT HAS BEEN SO CLOSE TO YOU...
im gonna miss all their journeys...
you gotta admit, this will be a great story to tell to my kids someday...

FAREWELL HARRY POTTER....
you may not know it but, you have changed my life, you have changed a lot of lives...

MOVIE REVIEW - HSM3

RATING:

For me, high school musical 1 is better than the latest installment of the movie the HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3. The movie is great, but the story itself was kinda disturbing because of all the songs. I kinda hate the first part of the film, or the first 40 minutes of the film, I didn't understand the story because of all the singing scene, the movie featured less talk, more singing. The first movie is better than this film, maybe because they focused more on the story and the songs are few maybe 7 songs, but in this film, they focused more on the music, songs rather than to focus to the story.
But, heres the positive comment, I kinda like the @nd part of the film, the "PROM SCENE", the whole "GOING TO COLLEGE DILLEMA SCENE", the GRADUATION SCENE and the whole GOODBYE SCENE, i was able to relate to the 2nd part of the story.
Overall, the movie is entertaining, the story is quite good, the ending is nice, they gave justice to the story (i guess),the songs are beautiful, the choreography is genius.

Michael Caine Confirms Johnny Depp as Riddler

According to: http://www.waukster.com/michael-caine-confirms-johnny-depp-as-riddler/

There have been a lot of rumors going around the internet lately about Johnny Depp and his involvement with the next Batman movie. The Dark Knight did so well at the box office that it would be stupid not to make another sequel - and the producers really owe a lot to the late Heath Ledger who put up a spectacular and legendary performance as Joker (I’m sorry Iron Man, I really prefer TDK). Anyway, the major question after TDK (The Dark Knight) was what’s next? Who can fill in the shoes for the Joker? Well apparently the Johnny Depp rumors are serious. Michael Caine, who played Alfred in TDK, recently said in an interview that the producers are really considering putting Johnny Depp in as the Riddler. Here’s Caine’s quote taken from Slash Film:

“I was with [a Warner Bros.] executive and I said, ‘Are we going to make [a sequel to The Dark Knight]?’ They said yeah. I said, ‘How the hell are we going to top Heath? And he says ‘I’ll tell you how you top Heath — Johnny Depp as The Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin.’ I said, ‘Shit, they’ve done it again!’” [Laughs]

Awww man! If this is true then the next Batman actually has a chance of beating the records set by the Dark Knight! What do you guys think about this? Johnny Depp as the Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as Penguin?

Personally I’m really psyched up at the possibility of seeing Depp as the Riddler. He’s one of my favorite actors in Hollywood due to his stunning performances for Pirates and the Demon Barber thing. His acting is really classy and very cerebral - something that fits the Riddler very well. I just hope Johnny Depp doesn’t die in the filming process like Heath.

As for Philip Seymour Hoffman, I’m not all too excited with this development but then again I never thought that I would appreciate Two Face in TDK. Hoffman is one of the top actors in Hollywood so it will be interesting to see how he can take the character of Penguin to a whole new level - farther than what Danny De Vito did in the second Batman movie.

Disaster Movie.... review

The movie wasn't really that horrible, funny in some parts but majority of the scenes were kinda immature. It was weird, but at least the "Disaster movie" did better than the other films they made like Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, Superhero Movie. They spoofed a lot in this film including Batman, Sex and the City, Jumper etc. It made me laugh a couple of times but I think it was too much, it was kinda lame. The movie was good but the story is dumb.

At first, I thought it was going to be a waste of money but after watching, turned out that it was worth it. (kinda)

Transformers 2: revenge of the fallen Teaser Poster

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is an upcoming science fiction film due for release on June 26, 2009. It is the sequel to 2007's Transformers, which was the first live action Transformers film. Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg return respectively as director and executive producer, while Shia LaBeouf reprises the role of Sam Witwicky, the human caught in the war between Autobots and Decepticons. Shooting began in May 2008.

Bay desired to give the sequel a bigger budget for a global scale and better characterization for a larger cast of robots. The main hurdle in getting the film produced was overcoming the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike, as well as possible strikes by the Directors Guild of America and the Screen Actors Guild. Bay met his shooting date with the help of previsualization and a scriptment by his writers Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman, and series newcomer Ehren Kruger.

Batman 3...Poster?

Who will play as "the riddler" in the rumored upcoming sequel of "the dark Knight"

Though Batman the Dark Knight is still in production it seems there’s already talk of what villains can be expected in Batman 3. It's starting, there's talk that the Joker will return in the next Batman film along with Catwoman. But some says the main villain on the batman 3 film will be The Riddler.

Now this latest influx of rumor-laden Batman 3 gossip is taking me back there. First, we had Angelina Jolie as Catwoman.

Now, Aceshowbiz reports that new "rumors" are tapping Johnny Depp and Philip Seymour Hoffman to grab villainous roles in Batman 3. I'm sure you need no help figuring out who would play who. For some reason, neither of these men ever occured to me, but they could do wonders with the roles -- especially Depp. If you were going to take the RIddler, and make it dark Christopher Nolan-style, is there anyone who could even come close to Depp's suitability? The Riddler came after Tim Burton's days with Batman, but it could also give us an idea of how Joel Schumacher's film would've been different with a darker touch. And PSH as the Penguin? So good.
